According to an article in the New York Times (January 14, 2013), Wal-Mart plans to hire every veteran who wants a job, provided that he or she left the military in the previous year and did not receive a dishonorable discharge. The announcement is to be made in a speech on January 14 in New York by William S. Simon, the President and Chief Executive of Wal-Mart U.S. This effort represents is one of the largest hiring commitments for veterans in history.  Here is the link to the full article:
