Outreach

Free Little Libraries

The Villa Park Library is proud to provide Little Free Libraries (Donated by the Friends of the Villa Park Library) available at numerous locations throughout our community. Little Free Library is a nonprofit organization that strives to build community, encourage reading, and provide access to books for readers of all ages.

Through Little Free Libraries, community members can take or donate books to increase access to reading materials for readers of all ages and backgrounds. Studies have repeatedly shown that access to a diverse collection of books has a meaningful impact on improving child literacy. The more books in or near the home, the more likely a child will learn and love to read.

Little Free Libraries are available 24/7 throughout our community with a regularly evolving variety of choices. To find a Little Library Location near you, visit the Little Free Library World Map or download the app for IOS and Android phones.
