The Library now offers automated locker service for hold pick-ups 24/7!
Please note: This is a pickup service only – all materials must be put on hold prior to pickup. Locker service is available for Villa Park Public Library cardholders only.
You will need to speak to a staff member to have your library card account updated to reflect locker pickup prior to using this service. Please visit the Library in person, or call (630) 834-1164.
Patrons may place holds by logging into their SWAN library card account via the library catalog, by emailing our staff at email@example.com, by calling the library at (630) 834-1164, or visiting the Library in person.
When your items are ready to be picked up, you will receive an email from LuxerOne (our locker service) providing you with a six-digit code and a QR code which can be used to open the locker 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
How does Library Locker Pickup work?
Place holds on books, CDs, DVDs, and other items using the online catalog. You will receive an email when your items are ready for pick-up. Please note: All library materials will be checked out to your library card account just before they are placed into the locker. You will be provided with a printed receipt or emailed receipt depending on how your library card account is set-up.
You can also call or email the library to place holds on items (please see above options for placing holds).
When you arrive to pick-up your items, park in the parking lot, and walk up to the automated lockers. The lockers are located to the East of the front doors. You will need your personalized six digit code and/or QR code sent to your email account. LuxerOne also offers an app you can download for your device.
