How To Participate

Adults

  • Starting on May 26, pick up a reading log, or sign up on Beanstack. Only one method should be used to participate. 
  • For every 250 pages/audiobook minutes you read, you will get to collect a fossil/ticket. Each fossil earns you one ticket to enter into our prize drawing. Maximum of 12 fossils can be found for pages.
  • Activities can also be completed to earn a ticket, including attending a library program, or an America 250 event.

Teen

  • Starting on May 26, pick up a reading log, or sign up on Beanstack. Only one method should be used to participate. 
  • The program is nine weeks. Every week, there is reading and an activity.
  • Read for 3 hours (180 minutes) and complete the activity every week to win prizes.
  • If you complete 5 weeks of reading and activities in the log, you will receive a paperback book of your choice AND a drawing prize ticket (1 entry to win). For each extra week you complete beyond 5 weeks, you will earn an extra drawing ticket. This means that if you read 6, 7, 8, or all 9 weeks, you will get 1, 2, 3, or 4 extra drawing tickets. The maximum is 5 drawing tickets total per person.

Elementary

  • Starting on May 26, pick up a reading log, or sign up on Beanstack. Only one method should be used to participate. 
  • The program is nine weeks. Every week, there is reading and an activity.
  • Read for 2 1/2 hours (150 minutes) and complete the activity every week to win prizes.
  • If you complete 5 weeks of reading and activities in the log, you will receive a paperback book of your choice AND a drawing prize ticket (1 entry to win). For each extra week you complete beyond 5 weeks, you will earn an extra drawing ticket. This means that if you read 6, 7, 8, or all 9 weeks, you will get 1, 2, 3, or 4 extra drawing tickets. The maximum is 5 drawing tickets total per person.

Read-To-Me

  • Starting on May 26, pick up a reading log, or sign up on Beanstack. Only one method should be used to participate. 
  • The program is nine weeks. Every week, there is reading and an activity.
  • Read for 2 hours (120 minutes) and complete the activity every week to win prizes.
  • If you complete 5 weeks of reading and activities in the log, you will receive a paperback book of your choice AND a drawing prize ticket (1 entry to win). For each extra week you complete beyond 5 weeks, you will earn an extra drawing ticket. This means that if you read 6, 7, 8, or all 9 weeks, you will get 1, 2, 3, or 4 extra drawing tickets. The maximum is 5 drawing tickets total per person.

Babies & Toddlers

  • Starting on May 26, pick up a Tiny Tots BINGO sheet.
  • Complete activities, ranging from singing a nursery rhyme to reading a book together.
  • Every 5 activities for BINGO you complete, earn a stamp and drawing ticket for a grand prize draw!
  • Earn blackout BINGO and win a prize!

*Prize disclaimer: All prizes from both Adult and Youth services must be picked up by August 31, 2026. The library does not ship prizes. Unclaimed prizes past this date are considered forfeited.*
