Summer Reading Program 2020

Summer Reading has started, but there’s still time to sign-up and win some great prizes!

The program is free and ANYONE can sign up! You do not need to be a Villa Park Public Library cardholder to participate.

Imagine Your Story this year with Summer Reading! We’re re-imagining summer with a brand-new way to participate called Beanstack. This is a fun, free, easy-to-use online program, also available as an app for iOS or Android devices. We are launching the 2020 Summer Reading program online on Saturday, May 30. Get ready to start tracking reading and activities, collecting badges, and earning drawing tickets. All are welcome to join, from babies to seniors, and enjoy the reading challenge this summer!

Join the Summer Reading Challenge 2020: Imagine Your Story

We have a Summer Reading Program for everyone! This year, for the first time ever, all Summer Reading Programs at the library are entirely online. We are thrilled to offer this to our patrons using Beanstack! This reading website and app enables readers to track progress through books, minutes, and activities, and earn virtual badges and tickets in the process. These virtual badges can be redeemed for prizes and entries for drawing prizes.

All are welcome to sign up.

Beanstack allows you to join reading challenges like the Summer Reading Program, and track your reading progress and activities at the Villa Park Public Library. Earn digital badges by logging books, tracking reading time, and doing activities, as well as book prizes and tickets for entry in prize drawings.
