“Since there is nothing so well worth having as friends, never lose a chance to make them.”
–Francesco Guicciardini

Do you love your Library? Become a Friend!

Friends act as advocates for the library; sponsoring programs and fundraising events, promoting the Library within the community, and helping to improve the Library facilities and services. Friends are volunteers from all walks of life who share a common interest in the Library. For more information about how Friends organizations benefit their Libraries, check out the information provided by the Association of Library Trustees, Advocates, Friends and Foundations.

The Friends of the Villa Park  Library are a fun bunch: they work with the Murder Mystery event, the Sunday Movie Matinees, and the annual Giving Tree. They enjoy a number of other benefits, including a summer pool party. The friends meet the second Wednesday of every month at 7 p.m.
