Build a Better World with Summer Reading! This summer sign up starts on Tuesday, May 30.  We’ll be offering a variety of great activities for all ages. We’ll help you find all you need to construct a fantastic summer! Come in to join in the fun, with incentives and opportunities all summer long. Summer Reading is easy, fun, and open to everyone!  Please check back frequently as we add more details about the program!

Summer Reading Kickoff: “Build a Better World” STEAM Fair
Saturday, June 3 • 10am-4pm
Presentations at 10am, 11am, 1pm and 3pm
All ages, under 7 with adult • Free event

Don’t miss this day! Our theme this year will focus on STEAM programming (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) at the library and in the community. The library will be a wonderland of science blended with fun, featuring demos, hands-on interactive experiences, and more! Drop by any time between 10am and 4pm to enjoy a variety of experiments, demonstrations, and presentations from a diverse group of organizations, including: ChiBots-Chicago Area Robotics, Fermilab, Mathnasium of Oak Brook, Salt Creek Butterfly Farm, SCARCE, Sci-Tech Hands On Museum, and library staff.
