Get Away @ Your Library is on Thu., Oct. 22 at 3:30–4:30 p.m. At Session 1: Writing Workshop, create a new world and write a story that takes place there. Keep working on your story and finish it at Session 2: Open Mic, on Friday, Oct. 23, 3:30–4:30 p.m. Those who read aloud will be entered into a drawing for a $20 gift card to Barnes & Noble!
Mon., Sep. 28 • 6:30–8:30 p.m. In this free workshop led by Friends member Ida Kotyuk, participants will each select one or two preexisting poems that they have authored. Bring ten copies of each poem to share with others. Each poet will read the poem aloud and we will then discuss the poem. Everyone is expected to participate. This session is for poets of all levels who are looking for peer review and suggestions. Registration is required.
