Chicago’s Field Museum Presents Fryer to Fuel Tank

Thursday, July 24 11:15 a.m.–12:15 p.m. The Field Museum is bringing it’s Renewable Energy Vehicle to Youth Services! Explore what it means to be “veggie-powered”! Learn how diesel engines work and why they can run on used French fry oil. Registration is required. For grades 5 and up.

Acclaimed Folksinger Weaves Stories through Song

Nationally acclaimed folksinger Chris Vallillo will perform at a special after-hours music event at the Villa Park Public Library on Saturday, July 26 at 7:00 p.m. This program is supported in part by an Illinois Arts Council grant. Field Museum Presents Soil Adventure

COD Improv Theater Group Puts On ‘Troll Booth’

The College of DuPage student theater group will perform an improvised production on Tuesday, July 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the Villa Park Public Library Annex. The production, entitled “The Troll Booth,” is a script inspired by improvisation, where the Three Billy Goats Gruff collide with Goldie, the Three Bears and the Three Little Pigs. (read the rest…)
