Mon., May 16 • 6:30–8:30 p.m. Meredith Meder, ACS Certified Cheese Professional, will introduce the world of cheese. Learn about the rich heritage of artisan cheese-making as you taste your way through a delicious flight of cheese. Tue., May 10 • 6:00–7:30 p.m. The library has databases full of new skills and knowledge. Use our digital resources to learn a new language, repair your car, learn computer programs, utilize stock market information, find product reviews, and more!
Mon., May 9 • 7:00–8:00 p.m. A look at how solar energy works on individual homes, explained in layman’s terms. The Illinois Solar Energy Association will address myths about the cost and whether solar energy works in Illinois, and answer your questions. Registration is required.
Thu., May 19 • 7:30 p.m. Join Lesley Cyrier for a discussion of Kathy Reich’s Déjà Dead. Visit the first floor service desk to pick up a copy of the book today! Registration is not required.
