Sorting Out Your Relatives

Posted November 12, 2012 | Posted in Front Page

On Monday, November 19, at 7:00 pm–in preparation for family
get-togethers–the Villa Park Public Library is offering a genealogy program to help you sort out your relatives!

As you sit across the Thanksgiving table for your once-a-year visit with some of your family, have you ever wondered whether Cousin John is your second cousin or your third cousin or some cousin “once removed?” Is Aunt Mable really your aunt, or just a long-time close friend of your grandmother’s?

The Library is offering a genealogy presentation to help you figure out the answer to such questions. Villa Parker Caron Primas Brennan of the Computer Assisted Genealogy Group of Northern Illinois (CAGNI) will talk about “Sorting Out Your Relatives.”

For more information about this program please call this number and ask for the Check Out Desk to sign up for this helpful class.
