Appreciating Picasso

Posted November 12, 2012 | Posted in Front Page

Picasso was one of the greatest artists of the 20th century, and members of the general public tend to find him either intriguing and provocative or totally incomprehensible. On Saturday, November 17, at 2:00 pm, the Villa Park Public Library will offer a program entitled Appreciating Picasso. This program is to help viewers develop greater understanding of the works of Picasso in preparation for the Chicago Art Institute’s upcoming exhibit Picasso and Chicago, to be held February 20 through May 12, 2013.

The Library’s program, which is free and open to the public, will be presented by Art Excursions, Inc., who have presented other Library art programs in the past. Don’t miss this fascinating presentation. Please call the Library Check Out Desk at 630 834-1164 to register for this timely event.
