The Villa Park Library maintains a Career Corner which contains Jobs & Community Resource Folders, flyers for job and community-related events, notebooks listing jobs and job fairs, and bookmarks highlighting helpful books in its business collection. Enter the Villa Park website, www.vppl.info, and click on Jobs & Careers to find a list of employment websites and All Things Digital (go to Digital Reference) to find helpful electronic resources. Learning Express provides online practice examinations for the SAT, ACT, ASVAB, GED, and Civil Service careers, along with Adult Basic Skills quizzes covering reading, grammar, and math. Tutor.com offers a Career Resources Learning Center and provides online tutors between the hours of 2 p.m. and 9 p.m. Reference USA and Business Source Premier supply valuable background information on companies, executives, and industries.
The Library also maintains a Technology Center which provides computer access for those with Villa Park Library Cards. In addition, computer classes and workshops on resume writing and career re-launching are available.

The Goodwill Workforce Connection Center is located in Lombard at 351 East Roosevelt Road. It is open to the public and provides an array of resources, access to technology and a staff that can help you build a resume and find a job. The Center has 24 computers with internet access and offers VA services referrals, vocational training, workshops, and on-site recruitment. Printer, fax and telephone access is also available. workNet DuPage offers various employment, career, and workforce development services to the job seekers and businesses of DuPage County.
