Fri. Jul. 29 • 3:30–4:30 p.m. for grades 3–5

Explore electronics and create circuits using special dough. Light LEDs, make noise, and more! Each session tailors this program to a specific age group.

Thu., July 28 • 11 a.m.–1:30 p.m.  In partnership with School District 45 and Jefferson Middle School, we will offer a mini-library this summer at Jefferson Middle School (255 W. Vermont St., Villa Park). Check out materials, apply for library cards, and join in activities and crafts!

Wed., July 27 • 12–1 p.m.  In partnership with the Northern Illinois Food Bank, the library is serving free summer meals to children ages 18 and under. This program is coordinated by the Northern Illinois Food Bank and offered at no cost to the Villa Park Public Library and its patrons.

Registration is not required. Please note that all food must be consumed in the program room during the designated time.

Wed., July 27 • 11 a.m.  Meet the strangest and coolest group of animals on our planet – frogs! See fascinating and bizarre live frogs up close and personal (sorry, no touching is allowed). Presented by Deb Krohn, a.k.a. the “Frog Lady”, an award-winning professional naturalist.

A limited amount of free tickets will be available at the Youth Services desk starting on July 20.
