Sat., Feb. 20 • 10:00–11:30 a.m. We’ll start the fun at 10:00 a.m. with short stories and interactive songs, and then our clinic will open. All children are invited to bring their favorite teddy bear or stuffed animal to the Library for a free check-up. Library staff “doctors” will give your friend a physical exam, complete with paperwork to take home. No appointments necessary (registration is not required)!
Fri., Feb. 19 • 10:00–10:30 p.m. Join us as Storytime hits the road! We’ll be at Whole Foods Market (215 S. Illinois Rte. 83, Elmhurst) to tell stories and bring our enthusiasm for reading to a different setting. Come by and enjoy a change of venue with us!
Our second session of winter Storytimes begins on February 22nd! This session will run from 02/22/16 to 03/24/16. We will offer various storytimes for young children including: Babies and Books (Tuesdays or Thursdays, 9:00–9:30 a.m.), Toddler Time (Mondays or Thursdays, 10:00–10:30 a.m.), Family Storytime (Tuesdays, 10:00–10:30 a.m.), Story Circle for Preschoolers (Wednesdays, 9:30–10:00 a.m.) and Ready for Reading (Thursdays, 1:15–2:00 p.m.).
These storytime sessions will introduce the world of language and books to children. They include singing, stories, rhymes, and a variety of preschool S.T.E.A.M.-based and S.T.E.M.–based activities. Most storytimes require registration and have recommended age ranges.

Tue., Feb. 16 • 6:00–8:00 p.m. Need some extra help with homework? Volunteers from College of DuPage will be available to work with you on a first-come, first-served basis. For grades K–12. Registration is not required.
Mon., Feb. 15 • 2:00–3:30 p.m. Take away the winter blues with some calming coloring sheets for older kids that feature unique and detailed designs. For grades 5 and up. Registration is not required.
