Come join the fun on a fabulous musical adventure to track down “The Legend of Marshmallow Island”! Meet all the hilarious characters who color the show with a splash of silly. This adventure in world music blends multicultural music themes and interactive audience participation. It features incredible sound effects and eclectic instruments from around the world! Our unique rhythm and sound programs excite, enlighten, and engage the whole family.

Learn how to grow vegetables and flowers from Master Gardener Kate Bradley. Learn about seeds and plant lettuce in a bag.
For families with kids up to age 14. Participants must be at least 8 years old to attend on their own. Registration is required

The winner of the 2013 Monarch Book Award has been announced. It is:
Pete The Cat: Rocking in My School Shoes written by Eric Litwin and illustrated by James Dean.
The Monarch Award is given annually to an author and/or illustrator of a book voted as their favorite by participating K-3 children in Illinois. It is one of four Children’s Choice awards coordinated each year by ISLMA, the Illinois School Library Media Association.
