In this intimate but disturbing portrayal of Richard Nixon in the White House, Bob Wooward provides one of the last pieces of the enduring Nixon puzzle. He exposes the untold story of Alexander Butterfield, the Nixon aide who disclosed the secret White House taping system that changed history and provided the evidence of his Watergate crimes that ended Nixon’s presidency. In doing so Woodward portrays the intense drama of Butterfield’s struggle and why and how he changed history.
